Strategy for Samsung

To create a brand packaging strategy that sets Samsung apart from the competition. The brand felt the packaging didn’t currently reflect the superior products that the company was looking to bring out in the future.
Creating both innovative and functional packaging solutions to enhance the consumers brand experience at ever stage. Taking an extensive research project into the end consumer experience of both their and competitor products with the view to designing the next generation of user-centric Samsung packaging. Taking the insights from the research, a range of packaging innovations were explored from each product category.
Three packaging DNA direction routes were explored in detail looking at visual, material/finishes, textual and structural packaging inspiration.
Each visual and textual reference was chosen to reflect the essence of the direction and was fundamental in building the future packaging brand direction for Samsung's small domestic appliances.
Final Packaging Directions
Each brand direction was explored further, along with the findings from the competitive study, to see how the direction can translate the brand DNA into future packaging innovations.
